Shri Gagan Deep Singh Kohli

Chairman – Shri Gagan Deep Singh Kohli is a Commerce Graduate and Cost and Management Accountant from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). He is in the whole-time employment with Indian Oil Corporation limited since 1990 and is presently holding the position of Executive Director (Finance) in Business Development Group of Corporate Office of Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

He has rich experience of over 35 years in the fields of Financial Management, Banking, Product, Management Accounting and Business Finance. He was the team lead from Indian Oil to usher in SAP Payroll and Employee Self Services, an SAP based change platform which revolutionized the employee payments mechanism in the organization. He has been involved in restructuring of the finance discipline of Marketing Division with a view to optimizing the manpower utilization. He has held important positions in various offices and has attended prestigious Senior Management Programs conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad and Kolkata. He was earlier on the Board of Indian Oil Mauritius Limited. He is also presently on the Board of IndianOil GPS Renewables Pvt Ltd, IndianOil Montney Ltd, Canada, Mercator Petroleum Limited, Terra Clean Ever Enviro Pvt Ltd and IEPOL, Oman.

Widely travelled and an avid reader, Mr. Kohli has a keen interest in value creation for the stakeholders through his contribution to the vital finance function.

Shri Anurag Sachdev

Director – Shri Anurag Sachdev, Executive Director, Indian Oil is heading the Shipping, Procurement and Contracts verticals of the Indian flagship energy major. A mechanical engineer by qualification and an avid sports enthusiast, he joined Indian Oil in 1993. Over a distinguished career spanning more than 32 years, he has held several strategic and leadership positions across the organization.

Mr. Sachdeva has worked across almost all verticals in the Materials and Contracts Department. Under his leadership, after commencing operations in 2016, the Paradip Materials Division became fully functional and successfully completed project handovers. He also oversees all chemicals and materials for ongoing operations.

At RHQ, he has played a vital role in the digitalization of the file system through the implementation of the e-Nivida platform. In the Central Procurement Cell, he has overseen the procurement of materials across all nine refineries, including successful procurements through the GeM portal.

One of his most notable contributions was the establishment of an independent ship chartering desk in 2005 — a pioneering initiative and the first of its kind by any oil and gas company in India. This strategic move laid the foundation for Indian Oil’s emergence as one of the largest and most preferred charterers globally. Today Indian Oil is chartering close to 500 vessels per annum under the innovative stewardship of Mr. Sachdev.

Under Mr. Sachdev’s visionary leadership, Indian Oil continues to navigate complex geopolitical dynamics in the shipping, supply, and logistics domains with confidence and agility. As Indian Oil stands as a cornerstone of India’s future energy ecosystem, Mr. Sachdev, with his steadfast dedication and keen strategic acumen, is playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s energy logistics roadmap for the future.

Shri Ajay Garg

Director – Shri Ajay Garg is Executive Director (Gas) at IndianOil Corporation Limited, India’s largest refiner and marketer of petroleum products. A
Mechanical Engineer from the Institute of Engineering, Lucknow, he brings over 31 years of extensive cross-functional experience across
diverse domains of the energy business, including Operations, Supplies, Marketing, Gas Business, and International Business.

During his career, he also served a significant tenure as Vice President (Sales) at Lanka IOC Ltd., IndianOil’s overseas subsidiary in Sri Lanka,
where he contributed to strengthening the company’s international business footprint.

In addition to his leadership role in IndianOil, Mr. Garg serves on the boards of several subsidiary and joint venture companies. He is the Chairman of IndianOil-Adani Gas Pvt. Ltd. (IOAGPL), driving City Gas Distribution (CGD) initiatives in key markets; Director of IndianOil LNG Pvt. Ltd. (IOLPL), which operates a 5 MMTPA LNG regasification terminal; Director of IndOil Montney Ltd. (IML), IndianOil’s, upstream venture in Canada; and Nominee Director in GSPL India Gasnet Ltd. (GIGL) and GSPL India Transco Ltd. (GITL), companies engaged in developing and operating natural gas transportation infrastructure.

A seasoned energy professional, Mr. Garg is recognized for his strategic insight and leadership in shaping IndianOil’s natural gas business portfolio and strengthening its role in India’s evolving energy transition.

Shri Anuj Bhargava

Director – Shri Anuj Bhargava is Director of IOLPL nominated by ICICI Bank Limited. He has graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Sydenham College, Mumbai. He has done schooling from Sherwood College, Nainital. He completed his Chartered Accountancy in May 1998. He began his career with ICICI Limited as a Management Trainee in 1998 and has thereon successfully risen through the ranks by handling multidimensional assignments in the bank group companies over last 21 years. He is presently working as Head – Global Clients Group, Multi-National Companies(MNC) & Public Sector Undertaking(PSU).  He handles an exposure of more than $20.00 billion spread across almost 1000+ clients.

Shri John Band

Director – Shri John Band has 30 years experience of the Indian Financial Markets and is Vice-Chairman of Batlivala & Karani Securities India Pvt Ltd and Chairman of Nextenders (India) Pvt. Ltd. John has an MA in Economics from Cambridge University and is an FCA from ICAEW.

Shri S. Senthil Kumar

Director – Shri.S. Senthil Kumar is Director of IndianOil LNG Private Limited (IOLPL) nominated by Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (TIDCO). He is an Engineer and working as Senior General Manager in TIDCO since 1999. Previously, he has worked as Executive Director in TIDEL Park Ltd during 2021. He has started his career as Engineer in Public Works Department in 1989; as Planning, Executive & Commissioning Engineer in BHEL between 1991-95; Senior Design Engineer in Madras Fertilizers Ltd., from 1995- 1998; He has a pivotal role in the development of Projects, implementation of Projects, and Commissioning at various locations. he has wide exposure of over 33 years in the fields of various Projects.

He has also been nominated in other JV Companies of TIDCO and attends Board Meetings, Audit Committee Meetings and NRC & other Committee meetings.
